Training farm operators in pond management and maintenance is crucial as Vinh Aquaculture promotes better management practices (BMPs) for all our aquafarms. Consequently, a good deal of time is spent in the field, talking with farmers and inspecting the ponds firsthand.
We also ensure that wastewater and effluents are properly handled and treated to guarantee the prevention of pathogens and minimize the negative impact on the environment. At Vinh Aquaculture, waste management is taken extremely seriously. We have gained invaluable experience in operating efficient wastewater treatment systems to control the discharge of effluent water from our ponds. Our waste-management systems are a crucial factor contributing to the low environmental footprint of our land-based aquafarms. The industry best practices of Vinh Aquaculture’s sustainable waste management regimes are certified by multiple stringent external industry regulators.
